Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has hailed second-choice goalkeeper Altay Bayindir for his superb display in the FA Cup win at Arsenal.

Bayindir got his first chance for Manchester United in the FA Cup third round match away at Arsenal on Sunday and made several excellent saves, most notably denying Martin Odegaard’s penalty in normal time and saving Kai Havertz’s penalty in the shootout to decide the winner after a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.

Bruno praised the Turkey international, saying: “It was a big moment for him, the first penalty (of the game) and another one, we are really happy for him.”

“It’s tough being the second คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย keeper. He comes here to play. Whenever he gets a chance, he’s been fantastic for us. He’s been fantastic in training. He’s always available for everyone and deserves this moment.”

The Portuguese international also spoke about the overall outcome of the game, saying: “Of course, with the situation where we had to play with fewer players, we had a lot of problems, but we gave it our all as a team and in the end we got this victory.”

Fernandes also quelled any talk of celebration by the Red Devils. Stating that the team still needs to find consistency in order to get where it wants to be.

“I know we want to celebrate and everything but our focus is now Southampton [on Thursday], that is when we have to back it up,” he said. “The big games against Liverpool, Arsenal, everyone steps up because it’s a big game. You want to be in these kinds of games, you want to be involved. You want to be the best but we have to do it in Old Trafford with these fans again. We have to give it back for the club. We need to do it every week, every game.”
