Master Business Mentor and Catalyst. Elizabeth Masamune is a one-woman renaissance. Formerly an accomplished senior diplomat with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, she’s been living and working in Asia for twenty-five years, based in Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam and South Korea. She’s fluent in Japanese, and well-versed in global business practices, cross-cultural communication, and diversity. She serves on the board of Grameen Australia, which provides microfinancing to social businesses in the Philippines, Bangladesh and Cambodia, and also on the Management Advisory Board of Chiba University. Her current focus is on helping other women—particularly female professionals and entrepreneurs in Japan—to realise their potential and obtain more personal fulfilment from their career choices. Elizabeth received the Public Service Medal from the Australian government in the Queen's Birthday Honours of 2006, for furthering the interests of Australian companies in Asia.
