Master Business Mentor and Catalyst. Elizabeth Masamune is a one-woman renaissance. Formerly an accomplished senior diplomat, she’s been living and working in North and Southeast Asia for twenty-five years.
She’s fluent in Japanese as well as having studied Korean, Indonesian, Vietnamese, French and Spanish. Well-versed in global best business practices and diversity, she also serves on the board of Grameen Australia, which provides microfinancing to social businesses in the Philippines, Bangladesh and Cambodia.
Her current focus is on helping other women—particularly female professionals and entrepreneurs in Japan—realise their potential and make better career choices. Elizabeth received the Public Service Medal from the Australian government in the Queen’s Birthday Honours of 2006, for furthering the interests of Australian companies in Asia.
